We are excited to be celebrating this year our 20th anniversary of the founding of James D. LaRue Architects. Founded in 1989, James D. LaRue Architects has designed over 400 homes and has the most promising and talented staff in its history. The best is yet to come!

We also would like to announce the breaking ground of 3 new homes. One is a two-story hacienda on the coast in Corpus Christi, Texas, another is a Mediterranean mansion on Lake Austin, and the third is a contemporary jewel in Westlake.

We are happy to announce the arrival of baby Zoe Rehm to the family. Zoe was born January 28, 2009 and is Paula Ables’ first baby.

We are also thrilled that Rez Lankerani recently passed all of his ARE exams and has completed his IDP training log. He is currently awaiting his final ARE registration and stamp.

We welcome Emily L. Marks as a new addition to our team. Emily received her Masters Degree in 2003 from Tulane University and brings to our firm 4.5 years experience in commercial design with an emphasis in Graphic Communication. She will serve as Project Manager benefiting our firm with her broad technical foundation, her skills in graphic work and her interest in green building initiatives.
